Due to the growth of our company, we have decided to expand our two local Distribution Centres in Grudziądz and Pyskowice in Silesia in mid-2021. We wanted to complete both projects at the same time, so we were looking for a general contractor who not only has experience in this type of facilities but, above all, has a large and experienced team to meet the challenge.
We chose Commercecon, a company we have been working with since 2017. At the time, Commercecon, on our behalf, carried out the roof sheathing and façade on a high-bay warehouse in Łódź.
The subject of our Silesia project was the expansion of the Distribution Centre to include a modern warehouse with a total area of over 18,000 m2. It includes a warehouse space of more than 17,000 m2 with staff and office building of 1,000 m2. Our Distribution Centre in Pyskowice will total almost 45,000 m2 from now on.
The building was completed under the build-to-own formula, and the structural and technical solutions used were not only fully adapted to our needs, but also fit in with the trend for sustainable industrial construction.

We have been working with Commercecon, an industrial general contractor, since 2017. Since then, Commercecon has been involved in several of our investment projects. Among other things, Commercecon provided complete roof sheathing of 4,500 m2 along with cladding for the walls of the high-bay warehouse with a height of 43 m, located in our Distribution Centre in Łódź.
The collaboration between our companies has always been very good and the construction work carried out by the Commercecon team has been of high quality and on time. The project involved the construction of a warehouse with an area of over 11,000 m2 and a new 350 m2 staff area at the Distribution Centre in Grudziądz, which has been in operation since 2012.
Conducting construction work on a 24/7 warehouse additionally required exceptional flexibility on the part of the general contractor. The work began in April 2022 and the building was handed over to us for use in March 2023.

In 2020, we decided to order from Commercecon the comprehensive development of our new project in Łódź, a warehouse hall with office facilities. The choice of this general contractor was based on the very good good reputation in the market, many years of experience in the construction of buildings of a similar nature to ours, and the company’s office close location that allowed for direct and frequent meetings between our companies' project teams.
Note that the construction work had to be preceded by the demolition of old buildings located in our area, and the general contractor was also tasked with the reconstruction of the road system, sewage, water and electricity networks.

Commercecon, commissioned by the Exon Lnvest company, has built a production and warehouse hall in Bukowice, which it gave us to use in August 2022.
The factory located in Lower Silesia is our first investment in Poland. The decision to choose this general contractor was driven primarily by the company's many years of experience in logistics and production facilities, high quality of the work and the timely fulfilment of previous commitments. What also counted was the confidence that the Commercecon team had built up from the beginning of the pre-project talks.
Under the contract signed with the contractor, a warehouse facility with a total area of 10,500 sqm and a height of 15.5 m was built in Kutno during this year. Commercecon, as the general contractor, was responsible for all construction works of the new facility, the development of the land around it and the completion of the necessary infrastructure, both technical and road.

Commercecon, as a general contractor, delivered a warehouse hall in Bolechów near Poznań. The facility, with a total area of 10,000 m2, was ultimately built for our customer Solaris Bus & Coach, one of the European leaders in bus and trolleybus production, part of the Spanish CAF group.
The design of the facility also included a photovoltaic system on the roof. For this reason, the roof structure was designed to carry the extra load. The use of solar energy to power the building is one of the sustainable solutions found in the facility.
The construction of a warehouse for Solaris Bus & Coach is not the first joint project with Commercecon. Over the past few years, we have entrusted a general contractor with the completion of several of our projects in various locations in Poland. Their team has always been exemplary in doing their job, so we had no hesitation in working with them again.
